Description
This skull mezcalero is truly a work of art!
The renowned sculptress makes each batch over a labor intensive 14 day period. She hand molds each cup from clay and individually carves each skull, sun dries the pieces, fires the gas kiln, files, paints, applies coating and then fires the kiln again for a second and final time. The attention to detail on the tiny, one inch skull - the eyes, the teeth, the carvings is truly magnificent.
Please note each piece is made free hand and will vary slightly from the photo.
This single copita or ceramic cup can be used to sip mezcal but will also sit pretty as a display piece in a bar cabinet.
